After weeks of rumors and speculation, HMD Global has finally unveiled the Nokia X6, but it will only be available in China.
The Nokia X6 name is an ode to the 2009 symbian phone, but other than that, the two devices share nothing else in common. The X6, which has a curved glass back and a metal frame, features a 5.8-inch display at a resolution of 2280×1080 (19:9 aspect ratio) a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage (expandable), a 16MP f/2.0 front-facing camera, a dual rear camera setup (16MP f/2.0+5MP f/2.2 B/W lens), a fingerprint scanner on the back, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 3,060mAh battery, and Android Oreo (presumably Android One since HMD Global said all phones going forward will be apart of the program).
Colors: White, Black, and Blue.
Pricing and availability: The Nokia X6 will go on sale in China on May 21st, with no current plans to launch in other regions. The X6 will cost 1,299 (approx. 72,000-80,000 Naira) for the 4GB of RAM/32GB of storage model, and goes up to CNY 1,699 (approx. 80,000-100,000 Naira) for the 6GB of RAM/64GB of storage model.
