At a press conference at IFA 2018 in Berlin, Sony announced the company’s latest flagship smartphone — Xperia XZ3.
The Sony Xperia XZ3, which comes with an aluminum frame and a 3D glass design,
a 6-inch OLED display at a resolution of 2880×1440 (18:9 aspect ratio),
a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor,
4GB of RAM, 64GB of UFS storage (expandable),
a 13MP 1/ 3.06” Exmor RS wide-angle sensor, a 19MP Motion Eye f/2.0 Exmor RS sensor,
a fingerprint scanner on the back,
a USB Type-C (3.1) port,
a 3,300mAh battery with USB-PD and wireless charging,
and Android 9.0 Pie.
There’s also a new “Side Sense” feature, which will allow you to tap either side of the device to bring up a list of apps that you’re most likely to use.
Colors: Black, White Silver, Forest Green, and Bordeaux Red.
Pricing and availability: Pricing was not announced, but the device will start shipping at the end of September in select markets.
